Johan Hausen holds a Bachelor in Health Science Chinese Medicine and a National Diploma in Acupuncure from New Zealand. Together with Daniel Spigelman, they are the founders of Purple Cloud Institute and associated Purple Cloud Press.
He is also the student of the Daoist abbot, Li Songfeng, of Five Immortals Temple in the Wudang Mountains under whom he studied f Daoist culture including Daoist medicine for almost 15 years.
