Amber is the AACMA Research Consultant for the AACMA Research Centre, a Senior Learning Facilitator in Health Sciences at Torrens University, and a Chinese Medicine (CM) practitioner at Three Lanterns clinic in Williamstown, Victoria. She is an experienced mixed-methods researcher whose research work helped lead to her role in the development of the AACMA Mentoring Program for new graduates, the first of its kind.
Amber has worked on research projects and publications in the areas of workforce readiness, clinical practice and professional issues in CM, CAM use, research methodologies, and health education. Amber has experience as a HREC member and administrator and research assistant, as well as over ten years’ experience in university teaching. She has won awards in teaching and conference presentations.
